A Licensed Flooring Contractor Since 2003

Pro-Floors Plus is a licensed flooring contractor based in Lynn Haven, Florida, serving Bay County and the surrounding region since 2003. What started as a commercial flooring operation has grown into a full-scope flooring and epoxy coatings business. We work with property owners, general contractors, and homeowners across Northwest Florida, Southwest Georgia, and Southeast Alabama.

Four generations of family experience back every job, from a school district hallway to a homeowner’s living room.

Four Generations in the Flooring Business

We were founded in 2003, but the trade goes back further than that. Our owner, Kevin Perkins, comes from a long line of flooring installers. His father spent more than 38 years in the trade before Kevin joined the business in 2008. His grandfather worked as an installer before that. Kevin bought the business from his parents in 2019, carrying forward for the next generation.

That kind of continuity shows up in how we operate today. Long-standing relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors built over two decades mean fewer surprises on a job site and more ways to solve a problem when one comes up.

Built on Commercial, Now Growing into Residential

For most of our history, Pro-Floors Plus focused on commercial flooring work: schools, municipal buildings, retail spaces, and general contractor projects across Northwest Florida. That focus built experience with the products, tolerances, and scheduling demands commercial work requires. It also built our ability to run two or three crews at once on a large job.

Residential work is a deliberate expansion built on that same foundation. The crews, vendor relationships, and product knowledge that build our commercial side now serve homeowners across Bay and Walton counties.

What We Stand For

These are the standards we hold on every job, regardless of size:

Quality first

A job that’s fast but done wrong isn’t worth doing.

Two decades in the same community means we’re available long after the invoice is paid. That means warranty questions or a follow-up job down the road.

Our goal on every job is a customer who calls again for the next one.

If a request conflicts with a manufacturer’s tolerances, we say so, even if it costs us the job. An installation that ignores those tolerances becomes a liability for the installer as much as the customer.

Licensed, Bonded, and Insured

Florida doesn’t require a specialty trade license for flooring installation the way it does for plumbing or electrical work. We back our work with the following instead:

Standard state business license through Florida’s SunBiz registration

Product-specific certifications earned through manufacturer training programs

Bondable up to $4 million in aggregate, with up to $3 million available on a single job

At least $1 million in insurance coverage

For general contractors and municipal buyers evaluating a bid, that combination covers what’s typically required to qualify for larger commercial work.

Meet Our Team

We staff our own employees for both flooring and coatings work, from installation crews to field superintendents. That matters especially on the coatings side, where many companies rely on subcontracted labor to get jobs done. Every crew on every job, commercial or residential, works directly for us.

Serving Commercial and Residential Clients

We serve two service areas depending on the type of project:

Commercial: roughly 150 miles from Lynn Haven, covering Bay County, Walton County, Okaloosa County, and Seminole County, Georgia

Residential: about 50 miles from Lynn Haven, covering Tallahassee, Florida to Gulf Shores, Alabama to Dothan, Alabama, including Fort Walton Beach and Eglin Air Force Base

Visit the Residential or Commercial page for specific project types and service details.
